I always tell people that I'm a creative person rather than an artist - somehow it seems like less pressure. Mostly, I like to make stuff. Graphic design, sketches, silly cartoons. Cards, posters, books. Jewelry, cement boxes and trays, upcycled clothing. Bad jokes, frequently.

I grew up in the wilds of Trinity County, left for most of my adult life, and returned home to be closer to family in the past few years. My day job is ghostwriting (novels, histories and biographies, blog articles) and editing, and I'm always glad to work with other authors on their projects even as I try to spend more time on my own. Making things - cartoons, cards, jewelry, messes, etc. - is a sideline. (You could even call it a sidecar.) But it's something that I love, and I'm glad to be able to share it with others who might love it, too.
